The fourth annual World Autism Awareness Day is April 2, 2011.
In 2007, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution to devote one day a year to drawing attention toward autism as a global health crisis. As a result, World Autism Awareness Day is observed annually on April 2nd.
What do you have planned? I will be a vendor at a local Autism Awareness event, seeking to share information about my support group and connect with families who need support or want to learn more about autism.
